Brooke began his diving career in 1992 with an Open Water course and transitioned into his first dive shop role in 1993, where he purchased his first Whites drysuit, the Pro008. In 1994, he became a certified instructor and subsequently moved to the Cayman Islands, where he logged over 2,000 dives while wearing a Whites 5/3 wetsuit. In 1996, Brooke returned to Canada and opened a dive shop in the province of Ontario, where he became an authorized Whites dealer. During this time, he logged thousands of additional dives, primarily in a drysuit.
In the fall of 2000, he relocated to British Columbia and in the spring of 2001, he joined Whites as a repair technician, further honing his skills and expertise in the field.
After taking a seven-year break to pursue other interests, Brooke returned to the diving industry with Aqualung, and now serves as the Lead Hand and cutting machine operator on the Whites Drywear production floor. He is proficient in all aspects of drysuit production and contributes to the design, manufacturing, and quality control processes. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the diving industry and a passion for advancing both his technical skills and industry knowledge.
